Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella, May 2023

Beginning with Tri-School Theatre in 1989…

It started with a woman with a vision. Amy Luskey-Barth saw a need for the arts in the communities of Cornelia Connelly High School, Rosary High School, and Servite High School. For over 30 years Tri-School Theatre, under the direction of Luskey-Barth and then Hillary Pearson, would come to be recognized as a prestigious conservatory of the arts as demonstrated by it’s students and productions. The recipient of several awards from The MACY’s, JRAY’s, NYA’s, and Educational Theatre Association, Tri-School boasted classes in which students could develop their skills in both the Performing and Technical Arts.

With the unfortunate closure of Cornelia Connelly High School, Rosary and Servite collaboratively looked to the future honoring the legacy of Tri-School while continuing to provide their students with quality arts education. Connelly has been an integral partner in providing support and students who enriched our social and artistic community. Their closure came as a great loss to us and we will feel their absence deeply.

Tri-School Theatre was rebranded as Trinitas Arts Conservatory in 2020, under the direction of Frankie Marrone and Robert J. Robertson. Michael Betts took over leadership of the program in Fall of 2022. The 2024-25 school year begins with Mr. Betts as the Executive Director/Producer of Trinitas and Nicole Rickard as Trinitas Resident Technical Director.

Trinitas, the Latin for Trinity, not only gives us our Catholic identity but illustrates our continued mission to develop our students Personally, Artistically, and Spiritually. It also gives a nod to "3" as Tri-School Theatre's history and students will never be forgotten but instead remain part of our rich history and our program's future.
