2023-2024 TRINITAS PARENT BOOSTER

Chair/Co-Chair:  Oversees all committee chairs, represents the Booster Club at cast/tech parent meetings, and is the point of contact for all parent questions. Organizes auction and booth opportunities as well as related volunteers for Trinitas shows, Red Wine & Gold, Friar Feast, Cracked Crab, and Servite Fashion Show. Works closely with Trinitas Team. (Cristina Coo & Shadow Needed)

Concessions/Break-a-Leg/Star Lounge (beverages): Purchases or requests donations (via Sign Up Genius) for concession/break-a-leg snacks and drinks. Purchases or obtains donations for wine, champagne, beer and orange juice for Star Lounge. For Trinitas shows that will be selling food in the Star Lounge, will oversee and coordinate item to be sold, purchasing what is needed and assembly. Ensures all concessions/break-a-legs and drinks are delivered to Trinitas office prior to opening day. Tracks inventory purchased, costs, sales, and ending inventory to calculate profits and properly plan for future shows. Works closely with Trinitas Team. (Rana Schirmer)

Tech Week Dinners/Star Lounge (food): Plans and organizes all tech dinners. Works directly with Trinitas Team to coordinate timing, quantity of food, volunteers, donations needed, etc. Works closely with Trinitas Team.  (Allie Lee & Shadow Needed)

Show Programs: Oversees the design and creation of a program for all three shows. The program should include a director’s message, scene breakdown, cast list, production staff, stage crew, patrons of the arts, special thanks listing, Comedy Sportz announcement and fundraising information, if any. Additionally, for the spring musical, works closely with the Trinitas Team for additional information required, to sell advertising space and ensure artwork is received or created according to publication deadlines. Front of House:  Creates sign-up for show volunteers and maintains volunteer communications for all shows. Manages set up and take down of concessions, break-a-legs, merchandise/auction tables and Star Lounge (with the assistance of the Student Front of House Manager and production team). Overseas volunteer check-in and volunteer training for every show. Works closely with Concession/Break-a-leg/Start Lounge Chair, Student Front of House Manager and Trinitas team. (Rana Schirmer & Shadow Needed)

Red & Gold Snack Bar:  Purchases or requests donations (via Sign Up Genius) for concession snacks and drinks. Creates sign-up for volunteers (and snacks, if necessary) and maintains volunteer communications. Works closely with Trinitas Team. (2 Volunteers Needed – Preferably Servite Parents)

Comedy Sportz:  Plans and coordinates potluck dinners, which take place between each practice and match. Overseas or runs front-of-house admissions and concessions at each match, including set up and ending inventory count. Concession purchases will be handled by Trinitas team. Works closely with Trinitas Team. (Coleen Astorga)

Fundraising: Oversees all fundraising baskets, including coordinating donations, preparing baskets, and working with the Trinitas Team on timing, delivery dates, etc. Also oversees and coordinates any additional fundraising efforts (i.e. minute to win it). The following baskets will be needed: (Julie Wright & Alex Chavez)

  • Friar Feast & Cracked Crab

    • 3 baskets for each event – A fall, winter and spring show basket (i.e. show tickets, dinner gift card, bottle of wine, break-a-leg vouchers)

  • Fall & Winter Show

    • 1 basket for auctioning

  • Spring Musical

    • 3 baskets for auctioning

End of Year Banquet: Plans and organizes the year end banquet, including securing the location and all details (i.e. food, centerpieces, microphone, stage, awards table, etc.). Works closely with Trinitas Team, who will handle the collection of money, awards, performances and speeches and the Trinitas Board, who will handle the video and flowers for the Trinitas Team. (2 Volunteers Needed)
